In popular areas such as Annapurna, Everest and Langtang Tea- house are more like Hotels, with hot shower, attached bathroom and delicious cuisine prepared by trained lodge owners. In the remote region Tea House Trekking is simply not possible has there is no inns and lodge available because of comparatively less visitors. Things are getting better shape these days. They are for simple and more authentically Nepalese. Tea- house trekking is less expensive than Camping and preferable it is recommendable to the small groups but also the Large groups can enjoy with unique experience.

Does Asian Adventure Treks and Expedition provide international flights?
No. You will have to book your own international flight if you are planning the trip from your country or outside of Nepal. However, Asian Adventure Treks and Expedition can arrange tickets if you wish to buy from Nepal but they gone cost you little more.

 

Where can I book my international flight?
Asian Adventure Treks and Expedition provide high-quality services at a reasonable cost. Due to this policy, the staff policy is to focus on providing personalized service with respect to Asian Adventure Treks and Expedition journeys and cannot be expected to advise you on airfares.

 

What about domestic flights?
Asian Adventure Treks and Expedition will arrange any domestic flights. We will require all information or documents needed to reserve your flight upon receipt of your booking.

 

When is the best time to travel?
To Nepal: The best seasons for trekking in Nepal are from March to April and from October to November. Except in the Dolpo and Mustang regions, where the best period is from March to November. Some treks are possible during the winter: Kathmandu valley, the Annapurna Balcony and the 7-day trek in Helambu.
To Tibet: From End of March - October
to Mt. Kailash: End of May - October.

 

What are the essential trekking equipment required?
The following list only mentions the essential elements:
You have to prepare a list of clothes and small personal articles you will need during the trek. A small backpack (about 40 l. It will contain what you will need during a trekking day and carried by you), a kit-bag with padlock (or a big backpack. It will contain the 12kg personal belongings, which will be carried by porters.

We advise you to protect the inside of the kit-bag with a plastic bag), a good sleeping bag, a sweater, a fleece jacket and a waterproof jacket (preferably Gore-Tex), good trousers as well as a waterproof trousers (preferably Gore-Tex), gloves and cap, hiking shoes, sunglasses and sun cream, a walking stick (optional), a frontal lamp or an electric torch. A foam mattress is provided, but if you have a self-inflating mattress, bring it: you will feel more comfortable.


What equipment is provided during trekking peaks ascensions?
Ropes, fixed ropes, snow bars and ice screws. You only have to bring along your usual mountaineering equipment (harness, crampons, ice axe, etc….)

 

Staff and leaders
In Nepal, there will be a Trekking Guide or sirdar and Tibet also a Guide may be a Tibetan or Chinese. They both speak English and some of them also speak foreign language.

 

Who will accompany me during a trek/trekking peak program?
In Nepal, a licensed guide and porters for your personal belongings and, for camp treks only, a cook, a kitchen boy, and additional porters for the camping equipment and food. For lodge treks, only a porter-guide will accompany a trekker traveling alone. A high mountain guide for trekking peaks ascensions. For Mustang and Manaslu, a relation officer is obligatory.
