The challenging Langtang Ganja la pass trekking trail is placed in the Langtang region of the Nepal Himalayas. Langtang Ganja la pass trek starts from Syabrubesi, which is nearly about 120 km from the capital city Kathmandu. The trek presents magnificence Himalayan views, blossoming basin and beautiful Helambu valley. Trek in this trail follows through alpine forests, rich flora and fauna and high altitude meadows. It is a rare wilderness trekking route in Nepal. The way from Kyangin Gompa in Langtang to Tarke Gyan in Helembu entails crossing the Ganja La Pass (5106m). The outlook of Langtang Lirung and the snow peaks in Tibet including Shisha Pangma(8013m) in the north are amazing. West to the pass is Naya Kanga (5846m), formerly known as Ganja La Chuli. The route follows through the basin along a separate trail, noticed rarely by rock Cairns, to a small tributary at 4400m. Trekkers can come down past a waterfall to a pretty Helambu region, making the way on one of several alternative trails through small Sherpa villages towards the road head at Melamchi bazaar.
