
Dhaulagiri trekking zone, which is considered as one of the most isolated places has profusion of Himalayan peaks, hidden valleys, high passes and sweeping vistas. White Mountain, separated from the Annapurna region by Kali Gandaki gorge, the deepest gorge in the world, comprises more than 10 peaks over 7000m. The meaning of Dhaulagiri is the White Mountain: soaring in solitary magnificent, this outstanding summit ascends as a massive shoulder of pure ice. The Dhaulagiri is the7th highest mountain in the world positioned in the northwest of Pokhara Valley. The trek round the virgin and untouched area of Dhaulagiri round is challenging and adventurous. The trek is excellent commenced from Beni, forwards up to the base camp where the trekkers reach the French pass (5,360 m) the highest point of the trek, down the French pass enters the lost but attractive the accurate wilderness areas reachable to trekkers in Nepal known as Hidden Valley. There are reports of many endangered species residing in this area including the mysterious snow Leopard. Subsequent to crossing Dhampus pass, the track comes down into the valley of the Kali Gandaki meeting the main trail either at Marpha or at Tukuche.

Day 01: Kathmandu - Hotel
After arrival in Kathmandu airport we will tranfer to Hotel, free for lunch or prepare for trekking
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu
This day we have free day for sightseeing in Kathmandu valley and prepare for trekking, Overnight at Hotel,
Day 03: Kathmandu - Beni
Early morning we drive to Beni we will reach Beni after 9/10 hours drive. Overnight at hotel/Guest House/Lodge.
Day 04: Darbang (1180m.) & trek to Dharapani (1470 m)
This day we will drive to Darbang after 3 hours we reach Darbang. Then we start our trekking to Dharapni after 3 hours ascend we will reach Dharapani, from there we will see Mount Dhaulagiri and Manapathi. Overnight at Tented Camp.
Day 05: Dharapani - Muri(1905 m)
This day we will walk towards Muri along the side of Myagdi river, on the way we will see various village settlements mostly of Magar communities (one of the ethnic groups of Nepal), after 6/7 hours of ascending and descending walk we will reach Muri. Overnight at Tented Camp
Day 06: Muri - Bagar (2080 m)
This day we will start our trek through ascending and descending trails towards Bagar crossing jungles and rivers . After 7/ 8 hours we reach Bagar. Overnight at Tented Camp
Day 07: Bagar - Doban (2545 m)
This day we will trek towards Doban which takes about 5 hours. Here we leave the villages behind and the trail becomes increasingly challenging. Overnight at Tented Camp
Day 08: Doban - Sallaghari (3585 m)
This day we will walk for about 6/7 hours to reach Sallaghari . The early part of the gentle ascending trail moves through forest of bamboo, pine trees and rhododendrons. After trekking for some hours gently where the route goes uphill and downhill respectively, we reach Sallaghari. Overnight at Tented Camp.
Day 09: Sallaghari - Italian Base Camp (3660 m)
This day we will walk towards Italian Camp for about 4 hours to reach Italian Base Camp. The trail is covered by bamboo forest all the way to Italian Base Camp. At some points we cross small bridges and little jungles. There is an open field at Italian Base Camp. From here we will see breathtaking views of Dhaulagiri range, Manapathi peak, Dhaulagiri II among other unnamed peaks and mountains. Overnight at Tented Camp in Italian Base Camp
Day 10: Rest day for acclimatization
Day 11: Italian Base Camp - Japanese Base Camp
This day we will walk mostly on the glacier. We will walk through the trail between mountains on our both sides. After 5/6 hours we will reach Japanese Base Camp. Overnight at Tented Camp.
Day 12: Japanese Base Camp - Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4750 m)
This day we will walk for about 6/7 hours through the glacier to reach Dhaulagiri base camp, from where we can see the same view as Japanese Base Camp. Overnight at Tented Camp.
Day 13: Dhaulagiri Base Camp - French pass (5360 m) and Hidden Valley (5166 m)
This day day we will walk towards Hidden Valley through French Pass (5360m.). At the beginning we will follow ascending trail for about 4 hours, after that we will gently descend for some while and walk straight towards Hidden Valley. From there we will see breathtaking views of Dhaulagiri I, II, III, IV, V, VI, Tukuche Peak, Dhampus Peak, Thapa Peak, Upper mustan range, Dolpa range and many others. Overnight at Tented Camp.
Day 14: Hidden Valley - Thapa pass (5244 m) and Yak Kharka (3880 m)
This day we will walk gently uphill towards Thapa pass. It takes about 3 hours to reach Thapa pass. After thapa pass we will start our walk towards Yak Kharka through uphill and downhill trails. We will reach Yak Kharka after 4/5 hours. From there we will see good views of Tilicho Peak, Nilgiri, mostly of Annapurna range. Overnight at Tented Camp.
Day 15: Yak Kharka – Tukuche (2590 m)
This day we will walk downhill towards Marpha. Those who don’t have time to continue further journey head towards jomsom and Next day take a flight to Pokhara.Those who have time, they will continue journey towards Tukuche through Marpha. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 16: Tukuche – Ghasa (2010m)
We start our journey towards Ghasa. We will reach Ghasa after 5/6 hours. We cross between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain range, from where we can see panoramic views of Tukuche Peak, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Pisang peak. We will slightly descend towards Ghasa. After walking 1 and half hour we will reach Ghasa. Stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 17: Ghasa - Tatopani (1190m)
We descend gently towards Tatopani it will take 6/ 7 hours walk to reach Tatopani. This day we will walk along the Kaligandaki river, we will see world’s deepest gorge which is known as Kaligandaki Gorge, This gorge is formed between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 18: Tatopani – Ghorepani (2750m)
This day we have to be prepared for long and little hard walk. We ascend towards Ghorepani from Tatopani it will take 8/ 9 hours walk to reach Ghorepani, on the way we will see scenic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Nilgiri, Tukuche peak, Annapurna south, Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Fishtail, Lamjung Himal and many more mountains. Overnight at Lodge
Day 19: Ghorepani – Poon Hill (3200m) – Hille (1475m)
Early in the morning we will walk one and half hour to reach Poon Hill from Ghorepani, from where we will see beautiful panoramic views of whole Annapurna range including Dhaulagiri and also we will enjoy beautiful view of sunrise. After around one hour we will return to Ghorepani for breakfast and descend towards Tikhedhunga or Hile, we will walk 4 or 5 hours to reach Tikhedhunga or Hile. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 20: Hille – Nayapul – Pokhara
After breakfast we will descend gently towards Nayapul after walking 3 to 4 hours. After reaching Nayapul we will hire a taxi to Pokhara. It will take one and half hour by taxi to reach Pokhara. Overnight at O/N at Hotel.
Day 21: Pokhara – Kathmandu
There is flight to Kathmandu after every half and hour. We will have enough time to explore around Pokhara. Afternoon fly to Kathmandu, It will take 25 minutes flight form Pokhara to reach Kathmandu. Otherwise we can drive by tourist bus which will take 7/ 8 hours to reach Kathmandu, O/N at Hotel.
Day 22: Free day in Kathmandu
This day we will have a free day for shopping and other activities such as Kathmandu city sightseeing etc. O/N at Hotel.
Day 23: Final departure
