
The Tamang Heritage trail takes place through the green midlands of the Nepal experiencing the prettiness of the mountains regions and the culture of the people exist in the area. The trail passes through customary Tamang villages where life, culture, and crafts have remained unaffected. The typical traditional greets hosted by the locals; rich traditional architecture, Tamang rituals, Tibetan culture, festivals, costumes, house style, and the ancient monasteries and the unique geographical settings add blush to the experience of this trail. The trek offers wilderness sense through amazing settings of alpine topography, flat meadows and rhododendron jungles. The trail starts either from Syabrubesi or Dhunche through Goljung, Gatlang, Chilime, Thuman Timure, and Briddim. The Tamangs are traditional farmers and cattle herders of the area. The newly developed tourism product, off the beaten track, highlights an ancient lifestyle combining it with picturesque scenery and healing baths in natural hot springs. The outlooks of Langtang and Kerung (Tibet) can be admiring from view point at Goljung Pass. The ancient monasteries and houses decorated with rich wood engravings at Thuman is a memorable experience.
