Village Tourism Day to be celebrated
Village Tourism Promotion Forum Nepal (VTPFN) is marking Village Tourism Day-2008 by organizing various programmes. Every year, July 31 is celebrated as Village Tourism Day.
Coinciding with Village Tourism Day, VTPFN is felicitating 12 individuals contributing in the development of village tourism in Nepal on July 31. Organisers are hopeful that the celebration of Village Tourism Day will help promote art, culture, tradition and lifestyle of our villages.
The concept of village tourism was first developed in African nation Senegal in1976.
