Heritage sites are now open from today for tourists which is launched from Bhaktapur by Hon’be Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Kripasur Sherpa . All the heritages sites were closed after April 25 earthquake. Because of the mega earthquake, numbers of heritages were partially damaged. After the management of cracked building and places, first level recovery is now completed and the initiative has been taken of reopening the heritage sites.
In the opening ceremony, distinguished personality from Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Representatives from Archaeology department, Representative from Nepal Tourism Board.

Now the initiation is taken as first milestone for tourism recovery campaign and the other activities will also be undertaken for making positive environment said officials.Out of seventy five districts only 11 districts are affected by the quake so remaining districts are ready for tourism industry. Still Chitwan, Pokhara, Lumbini, Bardia, Annapurna and eastern region of Everest are waiting safely for the tourists arrival. Now the different tourism entrepreneurs are very much optimistic regarding the revival and recovery of the industry.
