Honey hunting is a medieval culture in the mountains of Nepal, in which honey is collected from hives hanging on rock. The hives hang from rock about 300-400m high from the ground. Although honey hunting is a tradition, it is also used to entertain guests.  It is celebrated as a festival by locals so they offer flower seeds and sheep to god before hunting. The hunting is done twice a year (spring and autumn). The hunter fall off the rock with help of bamboo rope ladder and others assist him hold the rope and collect the honey in a basket. Along with the cultural honey hunting, the visitors can equally enjoy the grand and beautiful views of the Himalayas.
