RaraLake located in the north western Nepal and enveloped by Rara National Park is the largest lake in Nepal at an altitude of 3050m. The serenity of the place glorifies its beauty making it a true paradise. The National park is a habitat of Himalayan black bear, leopard, black panther, thar, musk deer, red panda, goral, wild boar, rhesus, langur monkeys and numerous species of birds. The region is lush in floras like rhododendron, juniper, oak, spruce, cyprus, confer, pine, broad-leafed chestnut and white-birch. The trek provides a view of jumla, one of the rice growing field in high altitude in Nepal located at the banks of the TilaKhola at 2370m. National park offers the magnificent vista of Mugu and southern mountains of Humla and takes a maximum 4 days of the trek.
