Rolaling Himal situated near the Tibetan border to the west of Everest, is a charismatic region full of mountain vistas, divergent flora and fauna and rich local cultures. The Rolwaling trek begins from Singati, goes down the Bhote Koshi River and enter the Rolwaling valley, a faraway, hidden and stunning part of the trek. The trek with high waterfalls and crude bridges across the streams require walking skills par excellence and a fit body. The twin Gauri Shankar, earlier regarded as the world’s highest summit, offers a brilliant charm. Grand Himalayas like Cho Oyu, Everest, Nuptse and Makalu, Mt. Gauri Shankar (7145m), Melungtse (7181m) and many more mountain peaks is viewed form Tashi Lepcha pass. The major attractions of the trek are Beding Village (3690m) and monastery, Na Gaun (4183m) and Tso Rolpa Lake.

Yeti, the abominable snow-man of the Himalayas is reputed to be found in the Rolwaling village. Some mountaineers prepared expedition to hunt yetis in the past and the land is full of Yeti-tales. The end of the trek is a permanent settlement of Beding whereas the Na gaun at the highest altitude in the trek is hidden between gigantic steep ice masses. The trail opens up to the foothills of Tamang and Chhetri settlements at the south of Tibetan border, thus customs are similar to Tibetan traditions. The trail passes the Tashi Lapcha pass through Thame and Namche and enters Lukla.
