Upper Dolpa located in the jagged geography of mid-Dolpa is an isolated and an excellent area to experience the mystical Shangri-La of Nepal. Across the Himalayas, the Dolpa region is a vast field of scenery, serenity and secrecy and constitutes mystic monasteries, hidden valleys with fascinating villages. The untouched natural beauty of the upper Dolpo is a concealed destination in the far-west region of Nepal. The area is well-known for its harmony of nature and culture and also a habitat of herbs, absolute trans-Himalayan culture and Buddhist artifacts make the trek unique to all the visitors. The brilliant mountain vista, wild flowers, Himalayan blue sheep, snow leopards, and giant bird Himalayan griffon stimulates the trekkers’ inquisition in the rain shaded region. the region is a splendor fusion o high passes rare flora and fauna along with gorgeous scenarios incorporated by Tibetan culture. The vista of Kanjiroba, Phoksundo lake and Dhaulagiri mountain provides an instant pleasure. A visit to the Phoksundo gonpa – devoted to the ancient bonpo religion, local to Dolpo and Tibet is an ecperience to remember.

Day 01:   Kathmandu (1350 m)
Arrival and transfer to hotel.

Day 02:   Kathamndu
Free day in Kathmandu and trek preparation day.

Day 03:   Kathmandu - Nepalgunj
If we fly to Nepalgunj we will reach after 1 hour, if we drive we will reach Nepaljung after 16 hours. Overnight at hotel in Nepalgunj.

Day 04:   Nepalgunj - Juphal (2440 m) - Dunai (2140 m)
This day in the morning we will fly to Juphal, after 45 minutes we will reach  Juphal, and we will start our trek to Dunai, after 3/4 hours walk we will reach Dunai. Overnight at lodge/tented camp.

Day 05:   Dunai – Chekpa (2838 m)
This day we will walk for about 6 hours to reach Chekpa, crossing jungles and walking Phoksundo Khola riverside. Overnight at lodge/tented camp.

Day 06:   Chekpa - Ringmo (3733 m)
This day we will walk for about 7 hours through uphill trail, crossing jungles and rivers. Overnight at lodge/tented camp.

Day 07:   Chekpa – Ringmo
Rest day

Day 08:   Ringmo - Bagala Phedi (3800 m)
This day we will walk for about 6 and half hours through uphill and downhill trails, crossing Phoksundo Khola. On the way we will see Mt. Kanjirowa. Overnight tented camp at Bagala Phedi.

Day 09:   Bagala Phedi - Gandala Phedi (4400 m)
This day we will walk for about 7 hours through uphill and downhill trail through mostly grasslands, we will see yaks and sheep grazing on the grasslands. Overnight tented camp at Gandala Phedi.

Day 10:   Gandala Phedi - Shy Gompa (4160 m)
This day we will walk for about 7 hours crossing Gandala pass (5110 m) through uphill and downhill trail, crossing grasslands, on the way we will see Tangtung lake and Mt. Kanjirowa. Overnight tented camp at Shey Gompa.

Day 11:   Rest day in Shy Gompa
This day we will explore around Shey Gompa, we will visit Shey Gompa cave. Overnight tented camp at Shey Gompa.

Day 12:   Shy Gompa – Namgung (4430 m)
This day we will walk for about 7 hours on the way we will cross Sela La pass (5094 m) walking through uphill and downhill trails. Overnight tented camp at Namgung.

Day 13:   Namagung - Saldang (3770 m)
This day we will walk for about 7 hours through mostly uphill and downhill trail, on the way crossing grasslands, desert like terrains. Overnight  camp at Saldang

Day 14:   Saldang - Simengaon (3850 m)
This day we will walk for about 6 and half hours through mostly straight trail, crossing small river streams. Overnight tented camp at Simengaon.

Day 15:   Simengaon - Tinjegaon (4110 m)
This day we will walk for about 7 hours through uphill and downhill trails, on the way we will cross small river streams, grasslands and desert like terrain.  Overnight tented camp at Tinjegaon.

Day 16:   Tinjegaon - Keheing Khola (4210 m)
This day we will walk for about 7 hours through uphill and downhill trails, on the way will come across grasslands, desert like terrains. Overnight tented camp at Keheing Khola.

Day 17:   Keheing Khola – Charka (4110 m)
This day we will walk for about 7 hours crossing Charka & Mola pass (5027 m), walking through desert like terrain we will reach Charka. Overnight tented camp at Charka.

Day 18:   Charka - Sangdak (4140 m)
This day we will walk for about 7 hours through uphill and downhill trail, on the way we will see mountains such as Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri. Overnight tented camp.

Day 19:   Sangdak - Yak Kharka (3180 m)
This day we will walk for about 7 hours through uphill and downhill trail, crossing small river streams, desert like terrain, grasslands. Overnight tented camp at Yak Kharka.

Day 20:   Yak Kharka - Kagbeni - Jomsom (2710 m)
This day we will walk for about 6 hours to reach Kagbeni, and walk for about 3 hours to reach Jomsom. Overnight at lodge/hotel.

Day 21:   Jomsom – Pokhara (820 m)
This day we will fly to Pokhara, after 20 minutes flight we will reach in Pokhara and transfer to hotel then after free for to explore around Pokhara.  Overnight at hotel in Pokhara

Day 22:   Pokhara – Kathmandu
There is flight to Kathmandu after every half and hour. It will take 25 minutes flight form Pokhara to reach Kathmandu. Otherwise we can drive by private vehicle/tourist bus which will take 5/7 hours to reach Kathmandu, O/N at hotel.

Day 23:   Kathmandu
This day we will have a free day for shopping and other activities such as Kathmandu city sightseeing etc. Overnight at hotel.

Day 24:   Final departure day
Transfer to airport and fly to your destination.
