The Annapurna Circuit treks follows the early paths used for trade routes between Nepal and Tibet which trails encompasses extended ease of cultures and religions in this remote and previously remote zone. Trip itinerary

After arrival in Kathmandu airport we will transfer to hotel.

Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule via Besisahar. It takes seven to eight hours to reach Bhulbhule by bus. Overnight at hotel/ lodge in Bhulbhule.

Having breakfast at Bhulbhule, we commence our trek to Chamje. Lunch will be served on the way. En route, we would trek along the steep and slippery trail running through paddy fields, trail ascends through the rhododendron forest to Chamje. Over night at Lodge. 

We trek from Chamje to Dharapani. The path goes along the river through bamboo groves. We would also cross barley and potato fields at Dharapani at Lodge.

After one hour trek we will be at Bagarchhap where we can visit the Tibetan Monastery Bagarchhap and view Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. The trail climbs along the mule track through pine and fir forest and then follows the river for a time amongst the higher oak and maple trees. Stay over night at Lodge.

The trail follows through the river valley, stay at Pisang with panoramic view of Pisang peak and Annapurna 2.Over night at Lodge.

Walk through the fields of grazing Yak and a wide variety of crops. This large Tibetan Nepali settlement provides good views of Annapurna 2, 3, 4 & Gangapurna.Over night at Lodge

This is a rest day to acclimatize to the higher altitude. Time to visit monasteries, take advice from Himalayan Rescue Association and observe the spectacular views from the Himalaya. Lodge.

We move through alpine pastures to scrubby forests of juniper and rose. Over night at Lodge.

Walking near by the river; sometimes possible to see herds of blue mountain.Over night at Lodge. 

We ascend steeply to high camp at 4550 m then along an undulating trail to the flat top of thorong-la ( 5416m). From here, the trail descend steeply down to Muktinath. This is one of the most important pilgrimage sights for Hindus, it is also home for many ethnics Tibetans and holy Buddhists. We will visit around the pilgrimage site, overnight at hotel/lodge.

We gently descend towards Jhorkot from Muktinath which is one hours walk from Muktinath, here is an ancient monastery. From here we will directly descend towards Kagbeni, here also we will see an ancient monastery. From Kagbeni we will reach Jomsom after 2 and half hours walk. Those who did not want to complete Annapurna Circuit can stay at Jomsom and next day fly to Pokhara. But, we are on the journey for Annapurna Circuit for this we have walk 1 and half hours to reach Marpha. Stay overnight at lodge.

We start our journey towards Lete. We cross between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain range, from where we can see panoramic views of Tukuche Peak, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Pisang peak. We will slightly descend towards Ghasa. After walking 1 and half hour we will reach Ghasa.  Stay overnight at lodge.

We descend gently towards Tatopani it will take 6/ 7 hours walk to reach Tatopani. This day we will walk along the Kaligandaki river, we will see world’s deepest gorge which is known as Kaligandaki Gorge, This gorge is formed between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range.

This day we have to be prepared for long and little hard walk. We ascend towards Ghorepani from Tatopani it will take 8/ 9 hours walk to reach Ghorepani, on the way we will see scenic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Nilgiri, Tukuche peak, Annapurna south, Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Fishtail, Lamjung Himal and many more mountains. Overnight at Ghorepani

Early morning trek to Poon Hill (3200 m) which is a hill station, from there we can see sunrise & panoramic view including Daulagiri and Annapurna range & back to Ghorepani after breakfast trek to Tadapani (2590 m), from here we will see very beautiful mountains such as Annapurna south, Himchuli, Gangapurna and others. Overnight at Lodge.

This day we will walk towards Chhomrong through descending and ascending trails. We will reach Chhormrong after 5 to 6 hours walk, which has settlements of various ethnics groups having majority of Gurung community. From here we can see Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Fistail Mountains. Overnight at lodge.

This day we will ascend towards Himalaya passing through jungles along Modi Khola.

This day we will walk towards Base Camp, We have to walk 2 or 3 hours along the lap of Hiunchuli, there are sometimes chances of occurring avalanches in this trail. After walking around 1 and half hours we will reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp. On the trail towards Annapurna Base Camp we are surrounded by beautiful mountains. After walking around 2 hours we will reach Annapurna Base Camp. Overnight at lodge.

This day we will return back towards Bamboo through same route, It will take around 5/6 hours to reach Bamboo. Overnight at lodge. 

This day we will walk towards Jhinu Danda, one the way we will reach Chhomrong village, we will reach Chhomrong after 5/6 hours walk, at Chhomrong. Again after walking one hour descend from Chhomrong we will reach Jhinu danda there is natural hot spring. Overnight at lodge

This day we will walk towards Pothana. After crossing Modi Khola we will reach Landruk village, after Landruk we will reach Tolka, From Tolkha we will ascend towards Bhickok deurali, from here we will descend towards Pothana. Overnight at lodge

This day after walking 3 hours we will reach Phedi. On the way to Phedi from Pothana we will see parts of Mount Annapurna range and Gurung village. After one hours drive from Phedi in taxi or car we will reach Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.
